House Between Forest and Field
Situated on a 13-acre site in Stanfordville, NY, the House Between Forest and Field is a testament to blending modern design with the natural surroundings. This 3,600 square-foot residence, designed by nARCHITECTS, features a barn-inspired silhouette and a cedar rain screen façade harmonizing with the landscape.
UCE Fine Builders played a crucial role in realizing this vision, expertly navigating the site’s topography and integrating the home’s slender 27-foot width with the expansive views of the Dutchess County landscape. Inside, the innovative use of lauan plywood-clad cores defines various functional zones, enhancing the home’s fluid, open layout. The result is a residence that not only offers seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity but also reflects a deep respect for its environment, capturing both the intimacy of the forest and the grandeur of the surrounding fields.
